Megan will shoot about 50 - 100 digital images per horse depending on the number of subjects and time allowed. However only the best images will be offered according to photo package selected, enhanced if needed, removing leads and halters only. Any other enhancements are additional charges. With this type of a shoot, you will not get paper proofs. However, traditional prints can be ordered. There is no difference in the outcome of the prints whether they are printed from negatives or from a computer. With digital, the advantage is that Megan can be more creative as she can shoot more images in a brief amount of time.
Photography
(Includes unlimited clothing changes and unlimited props) Travel fees
are $.75 per mile round trip/25 mile maximum/over 25 miles . Payment is due at time of shoot, release signed. Clients can view
proof sheet online within 7 days, for no longer than 30 days.
Assistants -
Megan does not provide an assistant. We will not assist in any handling of any animal as that is the
sole responsibility of owner. If notes are required due to heavy volume,
please be prepared and provide necessary personnel. Owners must be present at time of shoot
unless agreed upon in advance. In the case of " Liberty" photography, an
experienced equine assistant will be provided to the photographer to
protect her from energetic equine antics.
Food - It is a good idea to have your animal interested in a favorite food you provide, so you may use a feed bucket or treat as enticements. Try to not give a full meal prior to the shoot.
Weather - Megan is able to shoot in many conditions, but due to the nature of digital photography we will not shoot in rain, snow, extreme cold or heat. We reserve the right to reschedule due weather, illness or equipment malfunctions.
Location - While the subject may
be perfect, remember that there is a background to each photo. We will
take photos in best possible location you provide. Any enhancements or
removal of backgrounds will be at additional charge.
Shoot conditions -Client will provide shooting facilities,
electrical outlets and space for items requiring staged photographs.
Photographer will not be responsible for uncooperative pets, horses,
livestock or humans. While we will endeavor to take the best
possible photographs, it is up to you to have your subject clean,
brushed and ready prior to arrival.
Web Sites
The best photos taken during a shoot are automatically available at
no additional charge for web site development, 4x2 @ 72dpi only. If
you require prints that will be at an additional rate.
Publication Deadlines: At no time is Megan Parks photography responsible
for missed deadlines. Clients must give at least two week prior notice
for deadlines. We will strive to assist our clients as best we can, we cannot bump other work.
Advertising Use. We offer all photography for print advertising to any
established periodical or approved design company. We do not release
images for personal manipulation or reprint without purchase photo
package. Third party usage available, separate fees apply.
Editorial Use. Contact us for rates and terms, prices vary according to
placement, distribution. Photography not automatically available for
editorial use without permission.

ALL WORK MUST BE PAID BY CHECK DAY OF SHOOT
Commercial use is whenever a photo does a job for you either by promoting your business, product, ranch or exhibiting your horses for stud or sale. We require that all commercial/private use to include my name as a credit in connection with the image.
Why do your charge for enhancements and background removal?
We don't charge for removal of halters, lead ropes, and small scuffs or touches of dirt, and minor corrections. We do charge for detailed digital work that requires additional hours of work beyond the original image.
